In my paintings I attempt to show the everyday scenes from life as I

see it or as I imagine how it might have been during another time

and place.  I enjoy sitting down with my sketch pad to express the

thoughts that come to mind or something that I may have dreamt

the night before.  Then later on if I feel that a certain drawing would

make a good painting I may transfer it to canvas and commence

to developing and under painting of sorts, it may work out  or it may

not.  Once the under painting is done and I  have the values set to my

liking then I’ll start to add the colors that I feel suit the situation  of

the drawing I may get more creative a bit to enhance the composition.
